The largest of its kind Europe-wide, the Wilhelmshöhe Mountain Park invites you to stroll and hike at your leisure. It belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage since 2013. On the way, discover numerous attactions of garden art, architecture and culture that inspired Jacob und Wilhelm Grimm during their lives. The Hercules statue, image of the ancient hero of legend and a Kassel trademark, is enthroned high above Kassel, with a view of the entire city. At the foot of the Hercules, the water displays with their cascades, waterfalls, aqueduct and the large fountain have fascinated visitors for 300 years. Precious art is displayed in the gallery of old masters in the Wilhelmshöhe palace.
