Location

The Schützenplatz is centrally located. The old town is only five minutes from here. The quiet spot under the trees on the Este River invites you to linger. How to find us: B 73 to Buxtehude, road fork at Moisburger street in the direction of the town centre, follow signposting.

Size and features

30 parking spaces on sand/gravel or crushed rock. The fee is €5.00 per day. The grounds have a supply and disposal station (HolidayClean €1.00). Furthermore, six electricity stations with six sockets each are provided, as well as a town plan.

Distances

The parking area is located in the immediate vicinity of the town centre and the old town. Numerous businesses offer attractive and diverse shopping options. Bakery, restaurant and as pharmacy are 0.1 km away; indoor pool 0.5 km; outdoor pool 1.5 km.

Throughout the year. The grounds are blocked for some events. The dates are announced in advance.

German Fairy Tale Route tip

There is much in the old town that reminds of Buxtehude legends. Particularly the “race between the hare & hedgehog” is omnipresent. There is a fairytale exhibition in the Buxtehude museum on this topic.
