Lügde Myth Path Around the Herlingsburg

The treasure of a dwarf people, the white maiden or the Cherusk retreat – many stories and legends have grown around the grounds of the Herlingsburg on the plateau of the 345-metre high Keuperberg.

You can encounter these tales and other riddles by hiking on the Lüdger Mythenweg (Lügde Myth Path). It runs along mythical locations and culturally significant historical places around the ancient Herlingsburg ruins. Exciting legendary places and informative information stations await you on the five-km-long thematic walk with marvellous panorama views.

Starting point of the walk is the hikers' car park "Hermannstal" on Eschenbrucher Strassse.
